I’m looking forward to running a workshop on sustainable hairdressing with the wonderful Fry from the Green Salon Collective. It will be interactive and fun with lots of chat and a bit of crafty hair stuff thrown in too.
Fry's a worldly mix of Aussie, Irish, and Brit. He started his hairdressing back in the wild '90s. Got good at it, too. But what really lit his fire was how the beauty biz could help Mother Earth.
He globe-trotted, working with hair giants in different countries. That gave him the insight on the hair world's secrets and its worldwide eco struggles.
Fry's role as an environmental consultant for salons in Sydney truly set his path towards sustainability alight. Armed with a passion for both style and the planet, he embarked on a mission to bridge the gap between glamour and eco-consciousness. His expertise and guidance helped countless salons make the shift toward more sustainable practices.
As the founder and General Manager of the groundbreaking initiative GSC, he has pioneered a revolution in salon sustainability. Under his leadership, the Green Salon Collective has emerged as a beacon of change, redefining the way salons approach environmental responsibility.
Fry Taylor's vision goes beyond the superficial. He understands that sustainability isn't a mere buzzword; it's a way of life and a commitment to our planet's future. His tireless dedication and expertise continue to inspire salons around the world to embrace eco-friendly practices while thriving in their craft.
I'm absolutely buzzing with anticipation for the upcoming Salon Owners Summit! I can't wait to be a part of it and share my insights on how we can all work towards saving the planet without breaking the bank. Let's get ready to shake up the industry with sustainable ideas and a whole lot of passion. See you all there, and let's make a difference together!
